ESTABLISHING THE MISSION BASE
Our mission base serves as the center of operations for the Love Chicago team as well as a place where we prep outreaches, and host prayer sets. In addition we want to:
Be Fully Funded – We need to raise enough funds to support the daily operations and necessary staff.
Build a Team of Volunteers – by connecting with people who have volunteered with us in the past we will build a team of about 36 – 40 people to help with partnership development and mobilizations.
Begin to Build the Infrastructure – working with volunteers we will create systems and procedures for everything we do. This will ensure everyone is on the same page. Some of these systems will be developed over time, but we want to make sure that we have a basic how-to structure planned out.
- Partnership Development – how we approach businesses and organizations, how we share our mission & vision, how we onboard a new partner, how we follow up and maintain a good relationship, etc.
- Mobilizations – how we share our mission & vision in services and other large group
meetings - Training – creating training modules for volunteering, leading and outreach, establishing prayer sets, etc.
PARTENER DEVELOPMENT
Our goal is to establish Partner Development teams for 4 people for each of the 9 districts in Chicago. These teams are responsible for connecting with every ministry and business in their district to learn how we can support them and if they are interested in partnering with Love Chicago as well as continue to onboard more people onto their team.
The goal of the partnerships is to inspire organizations with the vision of seeing 24/7/365 worship, prayer, and outreach happening throughout the city. With our partnership we will provide them with the necessary training and resources on how to create effective, sustainable outreaches and prayer sets. Our heart is to create win-win partnerships with all our partners.
RECRUITING & TRAINING
Once a partnership has been established, we want to help our partners recruit volunteers by doing mobilizations. We will send a team of trained LC representatives that will share vision, inspire people to join the initiative, an tell people how they can join in the outreached and prayer sets the partner has set up. We will also train a team of people at the church to continue to do mobilizations.
We will also provide our partners with training resources that will help create effective, sustainable volunteers, outreaches, and prayer sets. We want to make sure that every partner can create quality, effective volunteers to help with their outreaches and prayer sets.
It is during this phase that outreaches and prayer sets are starting and continuing to happen all over the city. The more partners we can onboard the more we’ll see 24/7/365 worship, prayer, and outreach happening!
CROSS PARTNERSHIPS
We want to help foster unity among churches and businesses all over Chicago, therefore we want to build connections between our partners. We want to see like organizations or complementary organizations working together for strategic outreaches.
CITYWIDE INITIATIVES
We want to bring together all our partners for a single, strategic event, like a weeklong citywide outreach. This initiative is to show people all over Chicago the impact unity can have throughout the city.
MULTIPLICATION
Start spreading the vision beyond Chicago! We expand from a local focus to start inviting more people to experience what God is doing in Chicago with the intentions they take the vision back to their community. Through the phases we are creating a how-to manual that can be implemented in other cities so that way city transformation can happen regionally, nationally, and internationally. We want Love Chicago to be the training and sending catalyst!
